    yes but the air coming in at the backside is held back by the the butterfly's until they open up. im porting the frontside of the manifold where there is constant airflow going through.

    i do get what your saying now choking the air in the runners does create low end, so i guess ill be getting more top end!

      Ohhh ok I see what you're doing now. I wonder how that will compare to butterflies completely removed, double stack iab plates, no iab plates, etc. I don't think I've heard of anyone porting just the side that's always open.

      Good luck, I hope it works out well. Let us know if you feel any losses and gains in the high and low.

        any updates?


        you and mndude07's cars are becoming my favorte cars up here the way yall are modding them. not trying to get AOM or nothing, but modding to get more power out of your F series

          thanks bro! i think its kinda fun modding a motor that is known for getting to church on sundays!

          as soon as i get it all finished up this week ill post pics of the mani!

            thanx man. still a work in progress. maybe this week ill have the a6 IM off and paint it. been wanting to do that for a while. plus i can paint the fuel rail too. when and if i have the time. might do it sunday since i have off.

              do it mang! i got my A1 painted silver with some red anodized red goodies and it made my engine bay look much cleaner!

                yeah man. its amazing what some rattle can will do to your engine bay. wont make it perform better but looks a lot nicer under there.

                    Update on the intake manifold, the car seems to have alot of low end grunt to it. Pulls very hard once you break 4000 rpm's and has one hell of a sound when butterflys open. very fun to drive now, chirps the tires coming into 2nd gear at WOT.
