Nothing wrong with wet-sanding. I recommend it if you're fully restoring polycarbonate lenses. Worked wonders for my one-piecers. i used 800, 1000, 1500, 2000 grit wet/dry sand-paper, then a 3-stage cut, buff and polish with an orbital polisher.

I agree with this...

F20, if you want to clear up the lens, this is the way to go. OR, you can buy a headlight restore kit and follow the instructions like I did.

Either way man, you won't really mess anything up. It can only get better as you go

crazymikey is very helpful crazymikey is very helpful
It's a great looking ride for sure. Damn near immaculate for 250k.

Always been a fan of this gen of Legacy. Got a couple RHD's running around my town.

There's a nice LHD 2.5GT, black with black leather and the same wheels as yours that's around town, and I've seen it up for sale twice.

Yours is one of the most minty examples I've seen.

Thanks man, it does look pretty good in the pics. But if you look at it in person you can really see the rough spots...

As much as I like dinkin around with cars, I've decided not to do anything except required maintenance. #wintermode

Are these good cars? I don't know much about them...they're AWD and look great, but I was thinking about getting this body style for a winter DD...good idea? Or should I stick to a CB7 as a DD? How's the fuel economy?

Honestly I haven't driven it in any weather yet

But yeah so far it's a pretty good car considering it's mileage. It handles like a beast. It does have some issues, but what car with 250k miles doesn't? I've had for about 2 months and I've put 2000 miles on it with no major problems. I get a consistent 23 mpg(meh). This is my first subie so I can't answer you with the up most confidence, but yeah it's a good car

Alright man, I can answer now...
Yes, its freaking sweeet! We had a blizzard last week and I feel invincible, practically lol. It almost seems to do better on snow and ice than dry pavement. So in very short.. I think I'm now a subie guy

I can tell ya my buddy absolutely beat the brakes off of his, it lasted 75k before the trans started slipping then 5k latter the HG went and so did the bottom end.

It was a shame really car ran ok but he beat it 24/7 75k and gone.

Shitty. But I gotta say, like with any vehicle, take care of your shit and it'll last longer
Every vehicle I own has 250k plus miles, maintenance is key
