Yes, Kevin1990, that's the way uh huh uh huh I like it!

Don't worry, everyone, I have not forgotten about this. I am uploading all the videos and pics right now. There are 12 members estimating, so the winner will get the 25 buckaroos.

We've got some great estimators here, the winner was just 7 thousandths off .

It was an exciting day overall, and I am happy with what my car was able to achieve based on the circumstances.

I got three runs in before I had to head back home, and I kept improving my time by about .08s every run. I also got my fastest reaction time so far: .046.

      I love my racing car!

Here is the video proof of the best run, the third run:

Alternate angle video will be placed here, rather informative:

And, here are the three time slips, in order (drum roll please):

By my calculations, and yours, Sonik, you are the winner!

That's a lot of money and time spent to gain 2 tenths of a second... just sayin'.

Then again, 3 runs isn't really enough to really get it dialed in and play with it.

But what matters is your having fun. It's not worth it even if you run 8's if your not having fun.

          Yes, totally having fun!

The numbers don't show it, but this car way different at the top end than when the engine and IM were stock. It's exciting in the 1/4 now, instead of feeling like it has too many miles to be doing this. Still, I need an enlarged collector, larger plentum, shorter runners, IAB's hooked up, traction bar, and a retune before I can see mid 14s. The video shows how badly my mid range is suffering right now.

I've got an Exedy stage 2 4puck clutch, an LSD, and a lighter flywheel I have to get used to, as my 60' times make apparent. My best so far is a 2.244, and that was back in early July. I believe that with more practice, this car, as it currently sits, is capable of dropping into the 14s.

The two 15.7s I ran back in early July are true miracles. After I ran them, I could not repeat them later that day or the next time I went to the track in late July. I ran only 15.9s for the next seven passes with that setup, until this last visit to the track on Saturday. So, in my mind, I dropped from 15.9s to 15.4s.

Nevertheless, I will return with this setup to practice and lower the E/T.

Was this a one time thing or will we be doing this again?

Was definitely exciting but obv you're not made of money haha.

Wish I had a project car to track and participate in.

                Welp, one day.

Oh yes, we will be doing this again, after this car is modified to flow properly in and out. That will be in July, after the wedding.

I was about to say the car should be capable of near 15's flat or possibly 14's but that could be taken as an insult. But to be honest, in a 2004 Mustang GT I had with full exhaust, custom tune and a Vortech supercharger all I could pull was 12.8's and that was after some practice. So I'm no one to talk about the skills of other drivers.

Keep having fun man. It's cool to see someone stoked about some form of racing.

I'm also a firm believer in...

Okie Dokie. I hope Deev will accept.

H311RA151N, that's quite good. Did you keep the bottom end and suspension stock? What kind of tires did you run in the rear, and did you do any weight reduction?

Just the bolt on Vortech S trim supercharger kit, exhaust and some kind of lowering springs. I bought it with all that. Only thing I did was have it custom tuned which was actually originally because of a smaller pulley.

My friend pulled a 12.31 his first time in it. My first time was 13.7x. I sold the car after it got backed into and then I hit a deer.

Only video I have of it. It beat a Cobra... not really. It was that guys first time at the strip.

Oh, it had 275 wide Nitto NT555's in the rear. I also remember it having some kind bars welded to the chassis in the back kinda like traction bars.

Pretty rad, and it looks like you know how to feather the throttle, unlike your opponent, haha.

What rpm are you launching it at and how are you launching it? Where's your dyno sheet for the new cam? On a side note a 68mm tb and dropping the two stacker plates will let it breathe better up top.
