    CEL Code Question

Last night my abs light turned on. SO this morning i tried to pull its code. I believe i get a 48 code for the abs and i also now get a 14 code for CEL lamp. 14 is iacv i believe and 48 for abs is rear wheel sensor. SO how is the cel code connected to my abs. I still have to check my abs code it gives me again as i am little confused by how that abs check codes work. The 48 it gave me is sort of a guess as the 4 and 8 were separated but the 4 blinks were short like the 8. Doesn't seem to work the same as checking codes for CEL. Does it?
Do abs codes always blink fast. Like 48 is really 4 short blinks with a pause then 8 short blinks. That is how my abs blinks its codes i think. CEL long codes are easier to tell. Is this right. anyone else notice this? I am seeing different manuals say different things.
