The Hippos - Heads are gonna roll

When starting a ska band wasn't working, I got into punk... it's a lot easier to get 4 guys together to play punk than it is getting a bunch of flaky horn players together!
Flaky horn players are the BIGGEST problem for alot of upstart bands in CT. A really good High School aged band just had to break up cuz of that. its horrible.

I left off several albums, those are just some of their best albums... here are the other Floyd albums in my collection:

      Atom Heart mother
      Dark Side Of The Moon
      Meddle
      More
      Obscured By Clouds
Piper At The Gates Of Dawn
      Relics
      Ummagumma

I've got close to a complete discography. Plus the 18 disc, 337 song "A Tree Full Of Secrets" compilation of nearly all their B-sides, alternate edits, radio commercials, soundtrack work, etc. I highly recommend it to any PF fan.

Like I said, Pink Floyd is the best band ever and different standards apply to them.

        Speaking of Ska:
Mephiskapheles - God Bless Satan - every song but one is perfect.
The Specials - The Singles Collection
        Hepcat - Right on Time
        Anything by the Skatalites

Korn's first album deserves a mention.
Deftones - White Pony - This album brings up so many emotions. I knew I'd love this one forever as soon as I was done playing it 5 times in a row.
Garbage - Version 2.0 - Another entirely listenable album.
Have to agree with Dookie and one of Sublime's albums. I liked their self titled album better than 40oz.

In Flames - Lunar Strain & Subterranean - Everlost(part II) - Perfectly beautiful female sung song. You know about this one Deev?!
Satyricon - first 3 albums. Mother North - best song
        Burzum - Almost everything.
        Metal Metal and more Metal!!!

How much does your wheel/tire combo weigh? Post here!

I'm seeing a lot of ska, but no reggae... so here's a few...

          Bunny Wailer - Struggle
          Bunny Wailer - Liberation

(IMO, Bunny is better than both Bob Marley and Peter Tosh who eclipsed him in fame)

Peter Tosh - Wanted Dread & Alive
Burning Spear - Harder Than The Best
Lord Creator - Don't Stay Out Late (compilation)

Oh yeah, I can't forget possibly the best dancehall album ever:

Ninjaman - Original Front Tooth Gold Tooth Gun Pon Tooth Don Gorgon!
          - Ghosty

Ick... I stole a $25 Burzum CD from a store in Philly years ago... Filosofem I think it was. I HATED it. I'm SO glad I didn't pay for it! Nothing but trebble noise and Count Grishnack wailing like his testicles were cought in a vise. He's the black metal equivalent to a gangsta rapper... Isn't he the one who shot Euronomous?

I love the diversity we have here... not just between members, but within people's tastes. It's cool to see that most people aren't limited to one style of music!

I never can understand how some people limit their music tastes to just one genre. There is so much good music out there that people are missing.

I remember in high school... the kids that liked rap were like foreigners to me and my friends. I'm still not really into rap, but I can appreciate it when it's done well.

It's all about appreciation. When you can understand what makes an artist's work stand out within a genre, you can appreciate it. When you appreciate something, you're one step closer to actually liking it
