    slick, an automatic trans drain/refill is similar. it takes about a quart more than a manual trans and instead of adding fluid through the filler hole, you add it through the dipstick hole. you also have to becareful not to overfill an auto trans because it can damage it. later.
    ok now where could i get the auto tranny fluid? i dont have a honda dealer close.

          Thank you for this thread, I hadn't ever changed tranny fluid in a manual ever. So this helped now my shifts are a little smoother. Thank you whats the deal with the parts stores saying you use oil for tranny fluid, I had no clue because of the first thing i've never changed fluid again.
          Time to Fix it Up

                Don't fill the trans if it is out of the car, you'll just spill it everywhere when you put it back in. (The CV spline ends and differential are also lubed by tranny fluid.)
