you newer 9293 models the plastic trim around the key for ignition is in the way. so i take 3 screws out the bottom and the top piece comes out! and then you can remove the trim really! easy =]
on 9091 you can just slide the trim out.

I painted my needles red, never thought of painting the bezel, but here a tip if you do end up taking off the needles which i did, all you have do is hook the gauge up, and turn the key to the second mark, and then take the needles and set them to the bottom of all gauges, but best to remember where your gas one is reading before taking it off so you don't end up running out gas somewhere, this is only if you plan on changing your cluster tho....
