ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

    How rare?

Exactly how rare are Midnight Blue (maddison blue pearl? I think thats the OEM Color) and Tan interior COUPES. I had one in my family brand new, stolen, never could find an example like that one afterwards.

Well, I really never seen pearl blue. I have seen only ONE, in my area, but I suppose most pearl colors are rare. My car is originally owned, never stolen and well kept too. I have an SE and its Geneva green pearl. That's the factory color and I have only seen one person with the factory geneva green on their SE. Other people have painted that color on their car.

And I believe tommi has the same paint that you are talking about. Some pics would be great!

My 1991 Accord brochure shows the only available blue as Cobalt Blue Pearl, but there was also the light Laurel Blue which was a 1990 colour.

This is Laurel Blue on a 1990 DX

This is a 1991 EX-R in dark blue. Unsure of the actual name, but I don't think this is Cobalt Blue, however it is a '91.

My 1992 Accord brochure does not have a colour chart in it, but this is a 92 EX-R in dark blue. This blue is different than the one above I think. It's a little bit darker in person.

I owned the 90 and 91 and this 92 is in my local JY.

Yea it was this shade of blue, might have been a bit darker. Sorry that I don't have any pix. Never though it would've been important to take any.

Anyways I've never seen anymore coupe with that shade of blue and tan interior.

I thought you said you were looking for a blue color? Nighthawk black pearl is black, not blue. I don't even believe they made CB coupes in that color anyhow.

The only weird blue CB coupe with tan or ivory interior that comes to mind is the 1993 SE, I believe it was brittany blue or atlantis blue. Like the one C91BLX7 just posted.

Really? The 91 LX we had was midnight blue and it was a pearl coat color. It had the sparkles in the paint and everything. It was not repainted either. It was factory, hell when my uncle gave it to us it only had 20k on the clock.

The paint it was what JDMDriver explained in his first post.

I guess the CB we had was pretty rare than as how there isn't alot of info on it's paint and what not

just about every honda paint code has pearl, so it isn't rare. later.

i meant the combination of the paint, bodystyle, and interior color.

And you were all f*cking wrong lmaooo the color was Concord Blue Pearl. How do I know this? I used AllData (did you know they’re still making service bulletins for this chassis?) and looked up the paint options. And it was quite rare to be paired with ivory interior (usually it was gray) and extremely limited numbers on the coupe. Can’t find an exact build number but I’m still looking lmao.

Reading this thread made me upset, happy, feel weird, Jfc all of this for a 30 year old paint color 🤣😂
