    Replacing worn coilovers

Looking at some used Megan Racing coilovers on eBay. MR-CDK-HA90-EZII.

1 - Megan racing any good?
2 - Are coilover kits rebuildable? (if the damper wears out, can it be replaced?)

Megan is... Well, it's cheap Chinese crap, but it's decent I suppose. They are really all about the same. They are probably replaceable, but I'm not sure.

If you want life time rebuildable, or life time replaceable, I'd go with Koni Yellows. Even if the dampers are discontinued, you can still have them rebuilt.

You can then go with ground control coil sleeves.

This is what I went with except I am just using Neuspeed springs.

You can rebuild coil overs but it's not really worth it.

Go with the koni sports/yellows as mentioned above, it's a good setup.
sold! But here's my build thread for those interested.

In the name of safety, I would never buy used suspension components especially over the internet.

Alright guys, you've convinced me. Thanks. I guess i'll keep running my stock setup for now. I have KYB's up front and Monroe Sensatrac in the rear.

Would it be worth to just get lowering springs or do I need to get springs + dampers?

Trying to keep my budget under control since the car really isn't worth much.

If you get lowering springs you will have to get dampers that can handle the spring rate.

We have a lowering sticky that shows what works well with what, and how it looks. If you want adjustable suspension get Koni yellows with Ground Controls. You can pick your spring rates too.
