Something that I was messing with the other day:






I used one shock, on the driver's side only. The shock is a first generation Acura Legend hood shock.

I took the shock off, though. The force from the shock pushed the front driver's side corner of the trunk lid up maybe half a centimeter. It didn't look quite right. Maybe a weaker shock would be better. I could also try fabbing a bracket that would use the force of the shock to keep the trunk closed until a point, after which the shock would push the trunk open.

Not bashing or anything, it's definitely original...But...It's not exactly what you call it...

I've been doing my research on doing this..Not 100% done yet, but if it does go through, then I guess I'll be able to claim "The 1st CB7 CF roof"?

thats nice but i wanna see your progress. and thats why i said Prototype 2. plus there's a slight weight difference between a thin sheet of metal (oem roof) and cf/fiberglass. thats why im not in a rush to make the molding of the roof right now. shortly i will.
