Installed a MOMO hub and MOMO steering wheel. The wheel is an optional wheel for the DC and EG chassis in markets where airbags are not required. Pretty rare
I was having issues with figuring out how to get the horn to work without doing some extensive wiring. After popping off the old wheel, I stripped the protruding plastic from this disk so that I could bend the piece of copper that connects to the horn wire upwards, so it would connect with the bottom of the hub.
Thus, after bolting the hub on, allowing it to make contact with the piece of copper, the rest was just plug and play wiring.
I am now looking at quick release options. Here's some more pictures of the steering wheel.
Very cool. Haven't seen this wheel on a CB before. Looks great! And nice work on the flushie...any luck getting it to sit flush with the deck-lid?
Thanks. For the flush mount, I used the regular 3M double sided tape for the full length of the underside, spaced about 1/4" back from the edge. It's been on for for a few weeks and car washes and has stayed completely flush! The flush mount itself has some small imperfections in it (small cracks), that really erk me. I'm going to spray on some more coats of Plasti-Dip in hops that it will fill in/cover up the cracks.
Nice. I used 3M tape at first with inconsistent results...so i silicone'd it. Glad to hear your is holding up...bummer 'bout the cracks though. Mine has a few as well, one is almost 3in long. I tried using multiple coats of plasti-dip...to no avail. The cracks re appear once it dries. My next plan is to strip it down to the base material and use a high-build primer before actually painting it.
Okay. My last Gsquare grill order fell through. But I just ordered another one. And some OEM rain guards for the windows. Pictures will be posted upon install
I can't wait to see the grill and guards. I love my rain guards, they come in pretty hady when it rains cause my windows fog up instantly from the humidity.

Finishing up the coating on the grill. Still need to wet stand and polish the rain guards.
