Another roller paint job went well (total cost $10)

Please do not tell me that I could have sprayed it with much better results. I know that.
I decided to roll it because it is 10 times easier as our garage is way too small to spray a car in it.

    some history:
Last year, after rust and dent removal, I painted the car white with black bumpers. I had some plans for the car but lost interest in it this summer and almost sold it. However, recently I decided to keep the car and continue working on it. I got bored with the white, so it is black now.

I had some sand paper, masking tape, and a roller laying around. So all I had to buy was a can of Rustoleum black paint and a can mineral spirits.
    Total cost = ~$10

I spent very little time sanding between the coats and I know I didn't do my best.
But I am happy with the results. It took four coats and I did not sand or buff the last coat yet!

Sanding with en electric sander (it was a looong night, I started prepping the car in the evening and did the first coat ~3AM)

    Quick wetsand after third coat

    Fourth coat drying

Today - took it out of the garage

And some more shots by my house. It is raining

close-up of the hood (no wetsanding or buffing the last coat)

                  thanks for the comments everybody!!!

When it stops raining I am gonna buff it and see how it turns out. It isn't perfect but I think good enough.

The car is also getting a bigger drop and a mugen lip in the near future

Thanks I used a 4" professional foam roller (I got a pack of them from Home Depot a while ago).

You used the Rustoleum spray can paint? That looks GREAT dude. I might give this a try...hmm.

You should post up a complete list of tools/products used on your paint job.

I wonder if you could roll on some PPG clear or something like that. That shit would look hot!
