Fixing The Winter Car 56k ahahhahah No

Greetings everyone, you may remember me from such tread as Is my piece of shit worth it ! Well that's pretty much the only one that was picture intensive.
2 yrs a go i bought a 500$ manual canadian lx with 300k Km's on it, it was lowered with cut coils on stock shocks , and had a really cracked windshield.
after paying twice the cars worth in tickets. and the fact that my 92 ex-r coupe is in summer mode which i would like to keep like that i needed a winter car.

Last year in Montreal was hell for winter and since the car was low i had trouble getting out of snow and broke some stuff as well. So far i raised the car back to stock 4x4 offroad height lol and bought a new windshield.

Now my intentions were just to bring it back up to shape and avoid the cops. But since my 92 coupe has some cancer on it and i hope to fix it my self , i decided to practice some body work. Personally i have almost no experience doing this kind of work. but im not scared of using a welder or any power tools in fact i have a shit loads and after reading a few book on body work and watchin a shit load of spike tv i decided to go out and try it.

Also my dad use to back in the day fix up bmw 2002 and do engine swap from 318 and whatnot but he as gotten lazy and kinda fell out of touch well rusty with all this.

This is a pilot project for my other cb7. i do all the work my self and go to my dad for any reference. but most often than not he finds his way on to mingling with my work ugh wtv.

i could of used patch panels that would of made life way easier but at 75$ a side i said screw it plus daddy get all the metal i need free yay

If you have any question remarks comments criticism fire away.

Now on with the Pics Btw this is a work in progress.

The 92 coupe

The Beater.

The Windshield Area.

In this area i will either fill the holes by welding of with short hair putty

The Right Side

Test fitting before the cut

This is where dad mingled with it and cut the patch too short so i had to weld in a piece to make the wheel arch.

wow, i thought my rust was bad. thank you for the encouragement. Quebec has taken a much worse toll on your car than mine.

Good job taking car of that before winter hits though,

I've seen the work in person and it looks person and let me tell you it looks pretty damn good. I can't wait to see once it's completely done.

P.S... The pictures are indeed huge. They don't even fit my screen. It also started snowing... I'm pissed! This is the first time I see my Accord full of snow. I better hurry my ass and finish my Passat too before they drop the salt.

starchland may have said something they shouldn't have...
just wondering why you seem to be welding on little bits as you go...why not cut out all the rust first?

you should really rename the title because it's in the DIY's Section before it gets deleted..

Good job BTW!
