Wowzers!

I love both Genesis models. I saw a sedan in a parking lot, and took a walk around... in all, a very nice design. Nothing out of the ordinary, but it's definitley head and shoulders above what you'd expect from Hyundai. I'd say they're in the ballpark with Toyota and Honda now... maybe even Lexus and Acura... at least as far as design goes. A little more conservative, but still very sharp.

To see Rhys Millen there makes me even more excited Of course, if any maker throws a car at you, you don't turn it down... i wanna see that thing in action, though!

Of course, you see the replies... "It's still a Hyundai"... There were times where people would've said that about Toyota and Honda. I bet the Mk4 Supra and the NSX got the same sort of ignorant reception when they came out, too.

That thing is pretty hot!

I like Hyundai. They aren't quite there yet... but they're about one generation behind Honda. Pretty damn good, considering where they were 10 years ago! Car and Driver said it best... The next generation Sonata is going to give the Accord and Camry a run for their money.

That would be an awesome Hyundai commercial... a bunch of dudes walking into a dealership and pitching tents. (thankfully, I don't watch TV... but it'd be hilarious!)

Was planning to get the V8 Genesis. However, wifey no longer wants due to RWD...

If it was for me, FTW...

Now will have to resort to the '09 RL...

I'd rock the sedan any day of the week...seriously. I saw one at the dealership a while back and fucking loved the look. The one in that video is too hot, time will tell how reliable it is though...being their first V8/RWD.

The coupe, I'm not digging too much at this moment. That may change here in a while....maybe after we see what these cars can do, I'll gawk at it

The sedan is out already. I saw one today

I guess the coupe isn't yet though... I have yet to see one of those, and they're much more reasonably priced. They should be pretty common.

I love the fact that you get 350-esque power from the V6, and for a lower price, you have a fairly modest 220hp (I think) from the turbo 4... however, we know what can be done with turbo... It's an inexpensive Asian RWD sporty car... cheaper than any other RWD Asian offering. It WILL be a hit.

x2, saw one at the dealer like 2 months ago. So sweet. Can't wait to see the coupe in person. Maybe I can take it for a little drive.

I'm sure they're not the original stock tires...

Plus the Tau makes 375hp already (ok, closer to 300 to the wheels... so a 50% whp gain...)
