Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

    does E-bay header come w/ flex pipe?

    My flex pipe is done, so i was wondering if i got a header off e-bay (not that $75 shit, prob. around $150), Would it have a new flex pipe with it? Im looking for at a header and down pipe.

        My 65 dollar one did, its been great, except all the gaskets went to shit within a year.

          Awsome. thanks alot. The shop quoted me $631 for the flex pipe replacement. I guess i just looked extra stupid to them or something.


          Im Not looking so much for a Hp gain, but more for a little cleaner look, and hopefully some longjevity. So did the $65 one seem worth it? Was there any noticeable gain?

            a lot of people complain about the gaskets that come with cheap headers. I've never had any problems with ebay gaskets, reused them many times. but if they do go bad, just get some gasket maker, it is $5

              wow, that is a rip off, it shouldn't take them more than 30min to replace it and the flex pipe itself is only like $30. $631 is ridiculous, just get the ebay header, you will probably gain a few horses on the top end too

                Yeah. A really big ripoff. I wasent about to spend anymore that $150 on it. However, i looked around for pricing, and the best i saw was $105 for an A4 downpipe From honda. THe Lx and DX were really cheap, but for an extra $50 i figures why not upgrade.

                  Could i get N H23 Header?

                  I found a Dc sports ceramic coated header for an h23 for $250 shipped. Do you think it could work?

                  Or would a header from a 98' and up F-series fit ?
