    H23 head on F22 block?

What exactly are the requirements to install an H23 head on an F22Ax block? Ive heard that some coolant passage needs to be blocked off (not sure where though), but would the F22 crank and pistons be used or H23 parts? I'd assume either would work (not sure about any clearance differences), but I'd enjoy some input from someone with experience in swaps to guide me.

Search links would be fine too, I checked around but I'm bad with keywords.

    Thanks in advance!

Those links were EXTREMELY helpful, thanks a lot! Any other input would be great too, if somebody else here has done this swap.

Also, I'm assuming factory engine management (P14) would be sufficient if I keep the same bore/stroke? Thanks again for any help.

EDIT: Some of those links were for H22 heads and not H23, but I followed some more links within to find more H23 info.

its the best gasket that fits the ports/passages of both the block and head.

if you need parts i have an h23 timing gear.

you mean you doint have the cam caps? those are supposed to be paired with the head. if you use another set and those are off, the cam may not spin.

You can, but then you'll have to get the cam bores align honed and you'll more than likely have to get some bearings for them.

More work than it's worth. You're not gonna get much power from the h23 head, honestly.
