My h22a came in today and it is very clean but the transmission is a p2t4, it is lsd but i don't know what it came out of. if anyone knows it would be great. the motor came from hmotorsonline.com and came with the jdm prelude shifter, boot and shift knob.

That is the most info I found but nobody knows what car the P2T4 came out of and alot of people have only seen one or two and neither had been lsd but mine is lsd and it came on my JDM H22a, does anybody have this code on their transmission. My car should be done by the end of the week so i will see what kind of times i can turn when the clutch gets broke in. my bro (whyte7) has a non-lsd h22a in his 4 door accord so we will run and see how the P2T4 tranny is, if it is short or long geared.JDM H22a

I looked for you... Seems like EVERYONE is stumped on this one so far! I even registered for Absolute Prelude to look on there, and I found nothing.
I did come across someone saying that their transmission was NOT LSD equipped... Yank the axles and see if you can see straight through. If not, you've been cheated!

If I remember right someone on HondaTech had a very similar tranny and I thought I saw that tranny code mentioned...

He did search on H-T... That's what the link he posted is... Though they DO mention that the P2T4 mentioned is the second one they've seen on there.
91excoupe, everything I've seen about that tranny says it's not LSD... The thread you posted even showed the diff, and how you can't see through. Check your tranny! If you paid for LSD, you should have it! If you don't have it, it's time to break some heads!

we looked before we even started on the swap and it has a lsd in it, i can see all the way through. we looked in a tranny book the shop has and it shows the transmission as a 94-97 Accord SiR transmission and lsd was optional and mine is a LSD tranny. the only problem is that i thought the motor was a SiR motor and they were only 190 hp and 152 tq. Steve at hmotors said that the motor is from a prelude (200 hp) and it is a LSD Accord SiR transmission he put on it because I wanted a LSD tranny. we got the gear ratios too out of that book b/c i don't want a longer geared tranny and the gears in the Accord SiR P2T4 tranny are just a hair shorter than M2B4 or M2A4 gears. So it looks like I am coming out ahead. There is a prelude on Honda-Chat and he has full interior, I/H/E/ a chip, and VAFC and he is running a 13.7 sec 1/4 mile on bfg drag radials. and was running 13's all day long at his track, pretty impressive. I got the Accord SiR shifter boot and knob, shifter assembly, all new motor mounts, and a new clutch and flywheel with my motor. The valve cover has been repainted a smooth glossy black, and it came with greddy spark plugs, we took those out. The swap will be done tomarrow and so i just hope the motor is good and doesn't knock or smoke.JDM H22a

If you bought from HMO, I'm sure you have a good motor. I know about a dozen people who bought from Steve (myself included) and every one of them were happy. He's a good guy with a good business.
