    Susp: Bushing Removal

Ive heard alot of complaining that the removal of bushings can be a pain in the ass....and I dont doubt that it can be tedious and annoying....but my brother and laws and I used a very good method today that worked awesome....it may be used by some already but I figured since theres no DIY on here about it ill write one....so here it goes

    Parts Needed:
    5lb hammer
    38mm Socket
    15/16th Socket

    Step one:
Place the 38mm socket (can be any size as long as it larger than the bushing being pushed out) on a hard surface...then place the bushing directly over it and finally put the 15/16th socket on top...make sure you have the bushing positioned correctly so that it is gonna come out down

    Step two:
Beat the piss outta the 15/16th socket till the bushing comes out....should only take 2-3 swings

    Step three:
    Success!!!!

    Step four:
Repeat steps 1-2 till you remove all bushings

    Disclaimer:
We used this method with great success on my rear lower control arms....took 10 min to remove the 8 bushings....results may not be same for everyone.....also depending on what bushing you are removing you may need to change the hammered socket size...this method may not work on all bushings....i havnet tried on all mine yet....but thus far its worked well.

Ill say you dont NEED a 38mm socket.....all you need is something that will keep the bushing above the ground a couple inches.....and it has to be strong enough to sustain repeated blows without breaking.
