Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

Why does my "S" light stay on?

    Why does my "S" light stay on?

    i click the button trying to turn it off and it stays on all the time. a little help please.

      the S lights stays on.... the sport light on the cluster stays on and it doesnt turn off only when i turn off my car... when i click on the button for sport mode nothing happens but the lights stays on..

        Is your car running poorly? if so, it means there is an issue with your tcu. Pull the code and see what it is. My wife's car was doing the same thing, her tcu was shot

            same way u pull the codes from the cel.jump the od1 with a paper clip and ur s light will blink.

              TCU is next to the ECU.Front Pass side floor under the carpet behind the kick panel.

                After my f23a install mine has been blinking. Its stuck in sport mode. I havent had a chance to look at it real good. But if you guys have an idea that would be great.

                  i have the same problem, i tried pulling codes, the "s" light didnt give me any codes.it just stayed lit up. the only code i could pull was a o2 sensor. any ideas?

                    just change out the trans ecu and it should work

                      i forgot to add, it goes off if i down shift to d3, then cuts back on when shifted up. is there anyway to test a tcu, if i was to go to the jy to buy one? are all 9093 auto tcu's the same? do the different submodels have anything different?thanks

                              so can i just buy any old 9093 tcu? or do i have to buy a 91 ex coupe,etc.
