Please DO NOT Post In The General Section

From this point on until otherwise briefed, posting in the general section of Performance Tech is prohibited. The only thing to remain here will be the stickies. We would just delete this section, but that would cause unintended results.

The majority of the threads created can appropriately be placed in one of the Performance Tech sub-forums or Technical; and the posting of them here is detrimental to the activity of said forums. If you have any questions about where you need to place your thread PM me or one of the other mods.

For the most part you all have caught on without this post, but there have been a few habitual offenders that forced me to say this.

Everyone will get a couple of warnings from here on out, after that I just start deleting threads.

Again if you have any questions, PM me or one of the other mods.

How come you barely made more power with all the new internals? Also that header should be making alot more power for you. Are you still on crome? A better ECU would help out alot.
There are no black and white suspension answers!!!!!!!!!!!

i have a dyno of f22a1 w/ some mods for a benchmark of a close to stock motor

a1 block and head in ex chassis w/ex pt6 ecu, a6 intake mani, a4 exhaust mani, 5 speed

the blue line is the stock output
it starts at about 2100 rpms

            F22A6
H23 IM w/ double stacked IAB plates (functional IAB system).
            F22A4 header

mine had 186xxx and is only a couple hp/tq less than yours with less mods

was the humidity compare to before. before it was about 7-8% and this time it was 42%. that is 34-35% more humidity, meaning less oxygen in the air and more moisture. also the other dyno was at 78deg vs 101deg. all of that translates to a 4% loss in power and a 2.5% in torque. this puts the car at roughly 184whp and 161wtq in he same conditions at before as calculated by the dyno. another thing is now that the engine itself breathes better the intake has become a restriction.

It was a 5 speed with 216k on the engine, but we have the god aweful humidity and Texas heat to thank (and probably the stock intake tube) for the lower numbers. Also not sure on the dyno, a lot of people dyno'd lower on this dyno than they had on others. I'm just using it as a baseline to compare my future mods to, so I don't put much heart into the actual numbers. It's all in the deltas.

i have noticed that not even the same dyno brand and models produce the same numbers always. but what can ya do. lets see some more of those all motor f22's. im curious to see if some of the other "founding N/A f22's builds" will post something. eh hmm......cisco, lol. i know there are more real N/A builds than this. i wanna see some numbers!

                        Sup Gary.

My mild red Accord project dyno graph (Mustang Dyno) tuned on 87 octane, conservative for winter driving. This build was put together with left-over parts more or less to temporarily keep me entertained, not really brainstormed from ground up. Potential gains to be had for sure that I did not want to invest, still retaining stock block. Block had 210K miles to start with, ran well.

Reference red Accord project thread for details.

                        http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthre...ht=red+project

                        Dyno Graph:

                        * Delta 272 camshaft regrind set to 0 degrees (most power), retarded and advanced by 2 degrees for comparison *

In regards to white project I don't have dyno graphs worth posting, still in progress and not road-worthy yet. With the very aggressive camshaft that needed 1500 RPMs to idle inconsistently at that with minimal vacuum it made something like 187-192 WHP/147-152 WTQ on Mustang Dynos...actually two different machines. Working out immediate bugs to get it road-worthy to enjoy driving it again. We'll see if there is a future beyond that. Married life, newer Honda DD and home ownership slowed me down.

                            The red project?

Glad you did too, you're one of the few I see doing extensive research, making sound decisions and still experimenting with the F-series. I know there are performance shops into it, but we're some of the very few everyday CB7 owners modifying these F-series.

I don't have a dyno sheet for the most recent tune, however, my built F22a6 is making 150whp/150wtq on Dynojet, with a nice fat flat torque curve, starts at 135, peaks and holds 150tq to 7000rpm.

                              F22a6-(stock sleeves, unported head)
                              85.5mm Wiseco pistons 8.8:1
                              4340 H-beam rods
                              Bisimoto Level 1.2 turbo cam
Bisimoto valvesprings, retainers, and cam gear
                              Si Valves SS valves
                              H23 IM
                              Deleted IABs
                              68mm Skunk2 throttle body
                              DC 4-2-1 header
                              2.5' exhaust with RSX-S muffler
                              Unorthodox Racing pulleys
ACT Pro-Lite flywheel and 6-puck sprung clutch
                              H23 trans

It's fun all-motor, but it's begging for boost!
