ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

Much better than any F22 SOHC tranny... you might see a slightly lower MPG though.

For the engine's powerband, the best transmission would be the one that came attached to it from the factory. However, you certainly won't be winning races with that! The H23 tranny has long been regarded as a good balance between the very short gearing of the H22's transmission, and the long gearing of most Accord transmissions. I'd say it's a good choice.

It's not like the F23 is much of a performer anyway. Good luck with the swap... that's the one engine that everyone seems to have a rough time getting to run right! What ECU are you planning on using?

150hp, economy vtec... Only slightly better than the F22B1, which is one of the worst F series motors for performance.

I feel like an f18a carb might be worse

The F18 has the same head as the F22A... the motor sucks out of the box, but it has potential.

The F22A head has amazing potential. It can outflow the B18C5 (Integra Type R) head.

The record-breaking Bisimoto drag Insight runs an F22A.

wrong! 150hp stock everything with economy vtec. With a good intake and some good ebay headers and a ecu tuned right I WILL make 170hp at least. If I turbo it IT WILL BE above 250hp.
I want this to be my (FAST) cb7.So I think that tranny will be a good quick one.The one that would come with it would be an auto and arnt f23 manual tranny's really rare (I got it and the clutch and flyweel).
I know everyone has a hard time geting it to run right but I am taking my time everything.(the engine and tranny are to clean to eat off).
                    I am going to use a p28.
I will start a thread for it when start the swap.
