        OEM comprises of:
        -philips
        -hella
        -denso

        aftermarket kits comprise of:
        -mcculloch
        -catz
-anything else that's not under OEM

basically OEM is something that came off a car that is factory equipped with HID (lexus, nissan, toyota, honda, infinity, cadillac, etc).

a kit is a premade ready-to-wire system of components designed for a universal fit. typically they are not as durable and reliable compared to OEM.

I hve heard that Helios (i think thats right) are some of the best out there, they are a little more expensive than most, but apperently the just build everything to last langer, ie. wirig and all components. The company accross the street where I work, sells them for about $700 insalled (Canadian), and they give them a 10 year waranty, and the bulbs a 5 year. I think that is pretty fair if you ask me! Look into it, it's worth some research anyways...Hope I helped some.
If you can't hear it before you can see it...It's not worth it.

Was it a DIY or did you have it done somewhere?
