ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.
2 of 2 < >

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:
http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/forumdisplay.php?f=144
Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

I bought mine January 2nd and I haven't even gotten to drive it yet. It needs an engine (which I'm currently rebuilding), ALL suspension, new tires, dents fixed and then repainted. I've already put two thousand dollars into it from junkyard parts and new parts. Granted I've got a mountain of parts in my room waiting to go on. But, there are people even worse off than me. My problems are manageable. Keep your head up and keep at it. You can't own a '90-'93 Accord because it's the most reliable car on the planet. There's probably a good percentage of people that are members on this site solely because of problems they've had with their cars.
My Members' Ride Thread - It's a marathon build, not a sprint. But keep me honest on the update frequency!

I think for the most part, almost every member here goes through this.

I get comments about how much people like my car, yet I have so much sh!t to fix. It sometimes feels overwhelming, but I know I must continue to build.

Sometimes the thought of giving up and selling her crosses my mind, but then I'd let myself down... We can't have that.

Yeah... I will. I just can't wait for it to be completed, everytime I say I'm going to get this done on that day, more problems pop up and it keeps getting put off.

                  That's a beautiful coupe.

Funny, my Hondas have never given me mechanical headaches. Just small little issues once in a while.

Unlike other cars I've owned where seemingly everything goes wrong all at once.

Ever heard the phrase "drive it like you stole it!"

That's how I drive my car, so you can just imagine the torture it goes through. I fix it with new parts, drive it hard, and something else breaks.

It's getting where I need it to be though, one part at a time.

So you drive it 5 under the speed limit...?

its "drive it like you rented it" ...

(as long as you have that extra 10 dollar insurance on it)

my has been pretty good to me especially for having 253000 miles on it...

only problem as of now is the oil consumption about a quart every 1000 miles... but no leaks at all and the exhaust is relatively clean. So i have no idea were it goes ...

In Need of an engine, just a basic f22a...pm me if you have one willing to part with.
