    Bowling pin shift knobs

Working at a bowling alley and being into woodworking and cars gets the creative juices flowing. Here's what I came up with combining the 3:

    Both installed:

If there's any interest, pm me. I'm not trying to sell in this thread, just sharing a little bit of my creativity for feedback. Thanks for looking.

I actually have a civic boot because I had a civic knob before the bowling pin head. I'm gonna be making a boot so it looks a lot better.

I hope you continue crafting these pieces of art. Im sure others would love to be wood grain grippin' as well.

Maybe countersink the threaded aread of the knob so it sits farther down on the shifter?

Looks good, I think its a bit tall though.

Thanks man, I really just made one for my car (red one) and it inspired me to make a few more.

I'm looking into making more wood accents for my interior, but those are secret.

Good point. Not everyone likes taller shifters, so something like this could be done if someone wanted one that way. I'm actually working on a few smaller knobs using less of the neck of the pin. I'll post em up whenever I get em finished.

I'm actually working on some new stuff to make these a little nicer, incorporating the shift numbers and reverse. So keep an eye on this thread for updates.
