    Repairing the blizzshade sag

Hello blizzshade owners. First off. This isn't a bash thread. This is an attempt at getting the rear visors repaired.

This visor likes to sag in the center, or off to one side. Until it touches the window where it sits. I believe heat was the reason for the sag, so I'm thinking heat will be the solution.

So what have you done to get your rear visor to look closer to what it use to look like?

Right now 3m tape. With painters tape on the lower corner to keep everything lined up while I try to bend everything back with a heat gun.

I haven't put much thought into how it'll finally be mounted. But I'd like a more secure method.

Yea. I'm noticing that. But I'd like to have this piece on my cb, and not look like crap. Even thought my paint falls in that category.

I just find a stick and place it in the middle when the car is sitting, when I drive it eventually fly's out. There is still a little sag, but its not touching the window.

I was thinking about this a while back. Maybe if you make a vertical center rib for it out of a similar material and glue it in place, kinda like the cross section of a wing if that makes any sense.

Some good ideas guys. Some sort of stiff permanent brace maybe the way to go. And keeping it out of direct sunlight for long periods.

Here's what I got set up. I'm trying to be patient with the heat, so I don't make it any worse.

If you can get a small metal piece molded like the shape of the vidor and stick it in the middle of the visor underneath.
