EXT: mini accord emblem in grill

hey guys this is so easy so i thought id share it with u. i just did this a little while ago to my grill and i thought it looks real cool, first off i did the blackout grill as shown in other DIY's. then i got my self one of sean's mesh grill inserts painted black. but it looked kinda plain so i went out and bought an accord type R badge. like this one:

then i cut the "accord" out of it with an exacto knife

cleaned it up a little bit and used 3M double sided tape and stuck it on. the tape sticks real well if u hold it on for a while. ive been through car washes and nothing has happened.

just something different. instead of the regular badge in the back moved to the front, its a mini emblem cause the accord type R badges are smaller.

I use a mini H on my grill

i took the mini H out of a steering wheel on a 3rd gen accord
then took out my big H on my 91 grill , put some mesh and then from the back of the grill i used a small screw to hold the h in place.

looks nice

good job

i just grabbed a putty knife and seperated the factory "accord" badge off the rear and epoxied it to the grill. its a nice little mod for the $$.

Or do what this one is doing with his grill (http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=18768) and then place the mini emblem on there... I'd say a first where I'm from.
