    My Car is fucked

I have been putting threads on here placing that my car has been having problems. But the biggest problem of all has occured. Here is alist of what i have done so far:
    1) Changed spark plugs
    2) changed wires
    3) changed cap and rotor
    3) Adjusted my valves
    4) cleaned egr ports
    5) cleaned throttle plate and manifold
    6) and changed fuel filter
Now a problem has occur that the car will not run after more than 6 sec. When i start the car, it will try to idle then it "putt-putts" and then dies. I only started the car 4 times and it did the same everytime. I don't know if the problem is the fuel pump or the fuel rail. i pretty sure its not getting any gas to it at all. Is there any test out there to check my injectors or fuel pump.

If it was not getting gas it would not even run for 6 seconds. Are you getting a CEL?

Turn key to "II" postion (just before starting the engine), do you hear the fuel pump prime? Should be like a "whirrrr" sound. If not, perhaps the main relay is on it's way out. Check it, supposedly you can resolder the joints and be set.

or it may be your fuel pump, but honestly I haven't heard many having this problem.

Them are my guess for now.

check your FUEL FILTER could have been easily over looked, also check the fuel pressure regulator. check to see if you have spark, it could be the CPS in the distributor itself, mine went out and only ran on like 2 cylnders. there are many possibilities, just check from the fuel pump up really. get all that done and let me know some more details.

Really dumb idea, but why not try fuel injector cleaner? Or you could simply take the injectors out and clean them =)

CPS= Crank Position Sensor. it could be the distributor, check the injectors to see if they are working by holding a screwdriver to each one, and listen through it with your ear, you should hear a ticking noise from each one. thats how you will know if they are working properly. i still need more details to help you though.

reading this post, i don't see anywhere about checking the fuel pressure. have you done that? the pump can run but be weak. had that happen to one of my previous cars. if you have low fuel pressure (from a weak pump) you won't have enough fuel to get the proper spray pattern to run the car. i'd check that. also, check the voltage to the fuel pump. Low Voltage= slow/weak pump= low fuel pressure. but hey, heop ya get it figured out if this don't work either.
