Please DO NOT Post In The General Section

From this point on until otherwise briefed, posting in the general section of Performance Tech is prohibited. The only thing to remain here will be the stickies. We would just delete this section, but that would cause unintended results.

The majority of the threads created can appropriately be placed in one of the Performance Tech sub-forums or Technical; and the posting of them here is detrimental to the activity of said forums. If you have any questions about where you need to place your thread PM me or one of the other mods.

For the most part you all have caught on without this post, but there have been a few habitual offenders that forced me to say this.

Everyone will get a couple of warnings from here on out, after that I just start deleting threads.

Again if you have any questions, PM me or one of the other mods.

    Other Short shifters

There aren't many companies out there that make short shifters for our cars. Unless their custom and cost a couple hundred dollars. So what other cars short shifters fit in our cars?, prelude, integra? and what years?

Is the Neuspeed shifter a good quality one?, Does anyone have it?

And, will all 92-96 prelude shifters fit our cars?

cheapest way is to just use a 92-96 prelude shifter and plate, there isnt much difference in throw between stock and the 4bidden and pspec one, except they are shorter in length.

          thats what im running.

Yes its a good quality piece. I've had experience with one in the past and have nothing but praise for it. You have to flip your baseplate so it doesn't hit the console though. There's a DIY around somewhere on here that shows how to do it.

Just do the DIY short shifter mod. It's a lot cheaper (I put mine together for $3) than an aftermarket one. Plus it shortens the throw A LOT. Just my opinion. Take care!

I just want to hear from someone who has tried it and either it worked or it didn't... and why exactly...

So I bought a DC adapter for cheap... and I do mean cheap... $20...

Imma try it and see if it fits, and if it does... how it feels, any problems I run into and why... and if not, why not...

                    pics...

and I'll remount the basket under the plate too most likely...

                    more pics to follow...
