vht vinyl dye

hey ladies and gents, i know this stuff works great on dash boards, but i am wondering if anyone has any experiance dying leather seats with it...it says it can be used for leather, which is what i need...so if anyone has used it with leather/carpet/blah blah blah, and had it work good, let me know! thanks

Even if it supposedly did I would be worried about it coming off on my clothes. But I'm sure it would stick on and look as good as the vinyl surface. Then again, I know they don't harvest leather from rainbow cows so it's dyed somehow.

ya, i was thinking about the dye thing, like it comming off on my clothes, and i dont think it will be a problem bc it is a dye, so it should get sucked right up into the leather, a lot more so then with the vinyl bc i dont really think plastic is as absorbent~ i dunno, ill try it and let ya know~

it sucks trust me, just save the money and redo the whole interior, the dye will work ok but within a couple of weeks it'll start crackin or fading, i wish i could show you guys pics of my uncles 3000gt interior we sprayed black, it got so bad we trashed the interior and bought new seats, but then thats just my opinion

He is right, just save the money and redo the interior. The dye will be fading overtime. I had the same problem with my seats.
