    abs insight

ok my abs light has been on for months. So today i took the tire off and what u know the tire chewed at the wire. So i cut the bad part out and spiced it all back together. I took the + off the battery for like 5mins but the light still stays on. I checked all the abs fuses in the abs box there fine. I see theres a relay how can i check that. Also, any other problems that u think could keep the light on?

The light itself should tell you by the number of blinks ... provided you jump the service connector, just like when checking for CEL codes. I'd start there.

yup, turn the ignition on and jump the CEL connector, itll flash the ABS light, count the long and short blips and post up what it is... itll tell you which sensor/piece is failing.

you should really solder those wires and tape them nice and tight...
