    Carbon fiber gas door

I keep seeing this on egay...

    http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...480597827&rd=1

someone buy it and tell me if it's good quality...

Then I'll have an excuse to buy a CF hood, the 5thGen carbon fiber sides and carbon fiber front lip too...

and hell maybe even get in on that CF trunk lid GB...

you can order carbon fiber sheets from this website:

and make your own, if interested.

The weight savings you are going to get is going to be negligable at best; those gas doors are pretty light to begin with. If I were dying for a CF gas door, I'd pick up some CF sheets and DIY.

everything with carbon fiber isn't about saving weight.

Yeah, carbon fiber is best for weight reduction, but it's become the fashionable thing to do...

Dammit, uncle_el! That site actually made me consider doing my ENTIRE car in CF!

Make custom panels for everything that can be removed, then stick the flexible stuff to anything that can't be (rear 1/4 panels and stuff...)

          It'll never happen, bet hey...
