Oven cleaners also really good for taking off paint from your tail lights or ambered corners. just spray it on, stick it in a plastic bag and let it sit in there for 20 minutes and then it rinses right off.

like he said yes just spray it right off.. i was verry scepticale but it's how i clean the valvcovers i paint to.. it takes all the grease off with one coate and doesn't cause any fish eyes.. try it buy a can.. i swear.. we also use it for tire cleaner etc... some good stuff, stay away from fresh paint or radle can paint with it though because that might be damaging.

i don't know about spraying it on the engine itself because i only used it on my valve cover when i had it off the engine.

spray it on anything you want, its a cheap, good degreaser. i soak the sides of the bay, the block, intake manifold, everything. let it sit, hes right, itll all rinse right off. avoid the distributor, spark plug tubes, air filter, fusebox, and sensitive things of that nature.
