ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

      Black Dash for a 90?

I am also reupholstering my interior door, quarter panels, hood liner. The interior will be black and grey, but does anyone know where i can find a black dash for a 90 cheaper then 1K!

Its a 90 so it has no airbags which should drop the price but the cheapest i can find it is still over $1000.

Any help would be appreciated. Thank You.

junkyard..... try www.car-part.com. any dash from any 90-93 will work for you except the 93 se 4dr. it's the only one that had a passenger side airbag

          Thank You

Sweet according to that website there is actually one not to far from where i live for $200. With any luck i will pick it up next week.

unfortunately my car is sitting 600 miles from where i am for about two months so no install picks will be coming for a while

              Beginner buying

I'm not sure but i think its against the rules to buy things in beginner forums...
And i found one really close to home so i will probably buy that one.
But just for kicks how much are you asking and can you post a picture of it?

                    Money

Well i will discuss this in DIY when i get it done but a rough estimate is:

                    Quantity

                    (1) carpet - $125+ shipping
                    http://www.automotiveinteriors.com/...ord90_93acc.htm

                    (2) Dynamat extreme bulk pack (9 sheet)- $130 free shipping
                    http://www.amazon.com/gp/offer-listi...1425483&sr=8-1

                    (2) Dynaliner 11105 (1 sheet)- $60 or less free shipping
also from amazon but they are currently out of it

Also with the dynamat you only need one box to do the area under the carpet.

I am using 7 sheets right now and two more will go in when i take out my dash in a few months.

Each box comes with 9 sheets or 36 sq feet plenty to do the area under the carpet.

TOTAL = $320 for under carpet or $450 for enough to do the trunk as well

Just as a side note there are cheaper products then dynamat out there if you are on a budget they are discussed on other threads.

                          Price

Like i said there are cheaper products out there and i did all my floor for $130 and have some left over.
The $320 included the dynaliner and the carpet.

Plus sometimes you do get what you pay for. I am not saying dynamat is better i am just saying that it's what Chip Foose uses so it cant be bad!

why don't you just get some black dye from a paint or interior company, and spray the dye on there. My uncle does car interiors and he sprayed dye on the dash of a 65 impala and it looked great. . .It looks just like if you were to buy a dash, but for less money.
