    SUSP: Rear Strutbar Install

    Ok folks, im going to educate the uneducated...well sorta. i recently got my rear strut tower bar and i had no idea how to put the sucker in. so i looked around here(cb7tuner.com) and i couldnt find anything. so i asked a friend of mine to help with the install. well i figured that while im at it, i might as well take some pictures and do a DIY.

    Make sure that when your doing this that you are on flat ground.

    Alright here we go.
    1. First thing you wanna do is put the back seat down then take the side cushins off.
    these things-->

    2. Next I took off the plastic panels that cover the bare metal behind the seats. You dont have to do this but it makes things much easier. Just lightly tug on them till they pop out.

    3. Now you get to cut. Use my picture as an example on where to start cutting. I didnt know the exact location of the Tower, but once you take the cushins off you will see. Cut away so that the carpet doesnt interfere with the bar.

    4. Next you take the nuts off. If you have cut away the the cloth then u can clearly see them beside the top of the strut, one on each side.

    5. Once you've taken the nuts off you need to put the ends of the bar onto the bolts. like so

    6. Next put the nuts back on. Remember to go from one side to the other when putting them back on.

    7. Put the plastic covers back on, put the cushins back into place and put the seat up.

    Finished Product-->

    8. Now go for a ride and enjoy.

    Also if your bar is adjustable make sure you adjust it so that its nice and snug. Have fun!

                  thank you very much, so you just tightened the nuts back on as hard as you can without breaking your tools and not to certain tourque specifications?.
