damn im ashamed it is already near ford and ur caling it a windstar????!!! hahaha

its a nissan quest motor, nissan chassis just mercurys name on it. but if you think about it mercury---->volvo----->ford lol.

kinda like mazda protoge and ford

the headlights say ford, chassis says nissan, logos say mercury.

in no way its a windstar....lol
What makes me laugh about forums, is that no matter how much you try to help someone, they dont take the advice. Go ahead and do it the hard way.

You got to respect what you drive, and appreciate what you have, making the best of what you got. and if that means putting CAI, HID's, a phat stereo system, and a idiot in the drivers seat...then so be it!

      Retro!

yes you can. my truck has leaf springs under the axle, and you see TONS of lowered sonomas/s10's.

just put lowering blocks in between the leaf and the axle.

                          http://im1.shutterfly.com/media/47b8...D550/ry%3D400/

then i painted the shroud black to see

                          http://im1.shutterfly.com/media/47b8...D550/ry%3D400/

then i took it all off and used just the chrome piece....this i liked but i didnt like how it was too small and you can see the rest of the projector.

                          http://im1.shutterfly.com/media/47b8...D550/ry%3D400/

then i said forget it, instead of the chrom under the shroud in most pics like before, i put it on top!

then i tried black under the chrome

i think i like the black under the chrome, it blends in...what you think?

in this picture you see the black thing just behind the headlight housing. that was actually my first shroud i was playing with. found out it was too small but i already cut it so i cant return it. i am going to use it for the rear of the headlight to cover the gaps around the projector and mate it with adhesive. then the black rubber end cap will attach to that once everything is level and adhesive that into place.

i basically took a cap thats rubber, cut it out and cut it down to fit in the hole of the housing and the projector bulb holder. the metal band around the rubber is actually there just incase the glue doesnt stick to rubber, it will bond to the metal band instead but it also creates tightness.

as for mounting the rear plate and rubber baffle i may use rvt silicone.

here is what i got done today.

http://im1.shutterfly.com/media/47b8...%3D400/...that stuff any good...? it says high temp and permanently flexable.

overall i was saying tha ti should of gotten TL projectors, but i fired these puppies up tonight with a huge smile on my face cause these are freaken bright, one side lit up brighter than my 2 halogens. lol.

so i took it apart again, got the final aim down...going to seal it up...hopefully by next wensday ill be finished. also got to think if i want to do a 2 relay setup or 1 with the hid and wire in my high beam silinoids.
ok here we go...drivers side needs to be turned inwards a bit.
