    **ITS OFFICIAL..i'm goin' H22**

as some of you know, i lost my f22b due to hydrolocking..haven't been able to decide what motor to order.. thanx to WikkeDV16.. he helped me find a jdm f20b i figured i wanted something different, something to match the personality and looks of the car....

but after reading plenty of forums about the f20b, i realized its gonna be easier to swap and *maintain* a h22a. so here comes another 4gen accord w/ a h22a.

    Welcome to the club

I realized that was the only way to go too.

I think i bend my exhaust valves, so my swap will happen SOON!

(sorry, im stoned as i type this!)

Anyone know if the F20B's are lighter? I mean alot, cuz i heard H22 is 40-60 lbs heavier than f22 (stock).

Its not enough weight to make a difference. A manual H22 with tranny, dry, weighs around 395 lbs. If you are really concerned the wieght throwing off your balance, you can easly re distrubite it by relocating your battery into the trunk, and swapping to Carbon Fiber fenders and a hood.

Oh, and for having to go H22 for unforseen circumstances, I recently snapped the timing belt on my F22 , bending all the exhaust valves. Oh well. At least my H22 is sitting in my garage

..i did alot of thinking about the F20b..problem was that i wasn't sure if i was getting a manual or auto version. after reading what bustedLx said, the auto's were only 180 hp coz of smaller tb and some other stuff. i was gonna get the motor for $1500/ no tranny but i'd be upset if what i got was the auto version of the F20b..but you never know

$2200? WTF? Call http://www.hmotorsonline.com I got mine shipped for $1975. Make sure you ask for a manual block if you stay auto. They can mate a auto tranny to it. 200HP Auto H22.
