I'm thinking about picking up a PS3 and the Call Of Duty 4 game. Its the only one I've played.

Nope, I was reading the box on the new 80gb and it specifically says it will not play old ps1 and ps2 games

yea mines plays all PS123 formats. the only thing I hate about my PS3 is that im still waiting on my forth one to come it ....yes 4th ....do you guys remeber DISK-READ-ERROR ??? .....well they are doing it again. I think the old model 80 GB PS3 plays about 75% of PS2 games and the new model 80 GB plays none. Its supposed to eventually replace the 40 GB which is the same thing with half the hard drive space.
