How did I miss this post? I also bought Auto Modellista over the holidays. I’ve actually never played it and can’t wait to give it a go.

I started playing Auto Modellista a few days ago, and something fun I've discovered is that it seems you don't actually need to switch to faster cars as you progress through the races. I started to get a feeling this might be the case, so in a later race I decided to switch from the R33 GT-R to the AT Wonder Civic just to see what would happen, and the game adjusted the difficulty by changing the opponents to other cars at your level. Which is awesome, because I think the Japanese classics in this game are cooler than the high-end stuff anyway.
