I’m trying to make this easy on the eyes for those of us that don’t like to read, but you know, just a thread for you to reflect and write down what you think, you know , I just want to know your point of view, if you have any personal experiences please do share them, and like always please RESPECT peoples opinions......
So im hooked on all these crime investigation shows, First 48, Investigators, Crime 360, Forensic files, and the list goes on, and on....
The reason why like them is because you can sometimes solve the case before the show reveals who committed the homicide; but the main reason why I watch the show its because it's a REAL insight to the world that we live in.
Until I got started watching these shows, ill be honest, I knew that crime happens everywhere, but I only had a general understanding of this, but watching these shows makes things VERY detailed.
The First 48 is one of my top favorite because it tends to have the most recent cases. Forensic Files sometimes has cases that are a few decades old but First 48 and Crime 360 have pretty current cases. You know they always start with a dead body, and it’s amazing how they are able to find out a million things in just the first 48 hours.
I’m going to focus more right now on the young people that I see on The First 48. 17-20 year old that think they are bad, and got a gun and just took...., just took someone’s life, not their wisdom, not their knowledge but their life.
Then afterwards is when they think about their future and the consequences, they did not think about all that prior to taking action, they think about it when it's too late. Its sad to see some of them even crying during interrogation cause they know they killed someone, some of them go acting hard into the room, "man I didn't do nothing" giving excuse after excuse, and all of a sudden they start getting quiet and start to ask if the victim had any kids. Some of them start to break down, cause some of their conscience.
But there are those that have a mountain of obvious evidence stacked against them and they still want to act like they are hard, some of them even admit it, like some gang members, they proclaim their gang the whole time. They end up getting 15+ years and when they do a fallow up on some of them some are like forget being in a gang, they are ready to call it quits, they literally threw their life’s away for nothing. Some of them start reflecting on how they miss their families, their kids, and freedom in general, those are the people that I believe if they could rewind time they would have done things a lot different if they had the chance.
There was a guy that used to work with us and thank God he did not kill anyone but what he did got him looked up, he is in the local jail right now, has been there for like a year and a half, I thought I knew this guy, we talked about opening business, going back to school and graduating, you know positive things, instead of all the negative ways of making money, yo, this guy seemed to have a good head on his shoulder, some people just from talking to them you can tell they are full of crap, but this dude was not like that. Well he did the investigation got underway and evidence showed that he was guilty. I could not believe it when they took him out in handcuff, I thought it was joke, but it was true, he had something to do with it.
Every now and then I think about him like, dag man, this dudes life is just gone, even thought our job kinda sucks sometimes, I know he would rather be doing it then being in jail, I rather be doing it than being in jail. I don’t know what it's like but from what I know it's not nice.
I have a lot more to say but, let me hear from you guys
