So my car has been painted and looking great for a week and a half. I'm enjoying the nice weather. In center of town, I let people cross the crosswalk, and all of a sudden BANG some moron hits me and i get out ready to bust a cap.

I look and its not that bad.

a slight scratch and yeah.. i'm like kid give me 100$ and were good to go, he was all shaking, i'm like let's go to your bank and you get it.

So he did LOL.

yeahh so whatever.

I did this once. A high school kid working at Jamba Juice was running late, and backed into a Mazda MX-6 I had. He dented a bit of my rear panel, and some paint. He practically almost begged me to not call his insurance, that he would settle, and give me what I needed.

I knew the kid was real scared, and didnt want his parents to kill him...so he went and borrowed the $500 it cost to repair.

i had this kinda thing happen to me 2 weeks ago. douchebag in a 300m opened the door and slammed right the fuck into my door. and i was like WTF!?!! rolled my window down and all he had to say was SRY. sry aint gonna cut it old man. u damaged my doormolding.

had to go thru the trouble of contacting his insurance and them wanting me to get estimates and body shop telling me not to get estimates. and getting a run around which pisses me off, but im gettin paid nonetheless.

im just going to paint it myself and pocket the money.

need i remind u the old fart was a complete d bag about it and was thinking of leaving the scene not giving my his info at all. i managed to get a pic of his car and he forked over the policy number.

How about I'm in the store and I hear my alarm. I go outside and this guy is getting out of his car right next to mine. I say WTF!!!!!! He says "What?" I explain the whole "Alarm thing". And still he's like "What, I didn't hit your door." Every one is telling me to "Calm down you are making a scene" FTS!!

yeah a guy at my work rubbed his 35" truck tire against my front bumper's molding and left a scuff, and I knew it was him, but I was like, eh whatever, i'll fix it w/ 2000 grit sandpaper. I don't notice it anymore.

Some things its just easier to let go, then fight.

I mean, I can't imagine how much time and dedication you had to go through. I hope it was worth it for what they paid you.
