Sorry, got no details, no pix. Just happened to see it advertised on the teevee tonight. It was an ad that highlighted the sound system as being great, and at the end where they flash the fine print for lease info etc., there it was, "2006 Accord LX SE".
Wait a sec, I guess it's a real deal afterall:
http://automobiles.honda.com/models/...cial%20Edition
It's still below the EX in the model lineup, and here's the difference from the LX: "Like the LX, the Accord LX Special Edition Sedan features a 166-hp, 2.4-liter i-VTEC® 4-cylinder engine. But this model comes equipped with a 6-disc in-dash CD changer, 16-inch alloy wheels, 4-wheel disc brakes and Electronic Brake Distribution (EBD)."
Still waiting for them to offer an SE-X model.>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>><<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<

All of the special edtion Accord's are basically just a slightly upgraded LX. Usually with wood trim, sun roof, alloy wheels, etc. That's how it is for the 96-02 SE's. It's retarted IMO.RIP:

hmm, I was going to post the other week about the brand new 06's. Just when I thought the Accord couldn't get any uglier, they change the tail lights to look like every other damn car on the road. I was so happy when the reintroduced the classic Accord tail lights on the 6th gen and now they are gone again. sigh...
On a positive note, I'm feeling the new TLs. hawt!
If I could afford a new car, that would be it.Last edited by accordme93; 11-15-2005, 06:23 PM."the J32a2 should be considered one of Honda's masterpieces..." Honda Tuning, July 2006

Actually the "Special Editions" have been LX's for a while (I believe '97) where they began coming with single outlet mufflers, cloth interiors, and absence of a sunroof.
Years I've seen the SE = LX, '97, '01, '02, '06.'93 Bordeaux Red Pearl LX 5MT
Prev CBs:
-'93 BRP LX 4AT
-'92 AGP LX 5MT
-'93 AGP EX 4AT
10yrs after my first cb, I'm still driving one!
