...what's the worst that can happen?

Hey guys, i need some help/ words of advice.

Situation : Driving down a two-lane 15mi strech of highway (speed limit 55), rural country area. (off duty) cop on a harley davidson in front of me. (didn't know it was a cop). two vans run a stop sign and pull out onto the highway in front of us. i am at least 4 car lengths behind the biker. the two vans go 45mph. i pass all three... biker passes two and sits behind me.

It was the first beautiful day of spring here in WA (about 65 degrees/70), and so i open the sunroof and stick my hands out for a second.

10mi down the road we hit a stop light, the (off-duty harley) pulls up along side me and says:

"What the f-ck was that you dumbass, you're a f-cking idiot. you f-cking ride my tail and then pass everyone. you're lucky i am off duty i will f-cking kick your ass. i'm going to f-ck you up. i would f-ck you up, give you a ticket, and throw your ass in jail. i got your license plate and it's goin' in."

he drives off and pulls over, i pull over in front of him and get out.

me - "what do you mean i was tailing you? i was 5 cars behind and then passed you because you wanted to do 40/45 on a highway where EVERYONE does 60."

him - "that sh!t wont work. its too late. f-ck you ******. that was some radical passing back there. you also stuck both hands out of the car and threw sh!t at me, i saw you"

(im guessing a paper flew out, because all my windows were wide open)

I notice his firefighter sticker on his bike

me - "are you a cop or firefighter?"

him - "i'm both you dumbass."

he takes a picture of my plate and goes "smile ******."

I get in my car and drive away....
I can't afford another ticket. i lose my license.

he also said i was throwing things at him.... which i didn't, i never really noticed him until he came along side and started threating me.


what is the worst that can happen? he was off duty... sent my plate into the station... does anyone know?

how is he both a cop and a firefighter? how do you know he was even really a cop at all? he's an asshole that's for sure. i practise getting into the motion of making a sound recording on my phone if something like that should happen, cause we always only think of those things afterwards.

yeah. is it possible for him to do anything to me for (this) offense?... or no since he was off duty?

it was kinda odd when I said "are you a cop or a firefighter?" and he ignored me and i asked again and then he said... "both."

i would call up your local department or whatever, and say you were harassed by a supposed off duty cop, making it sound like it could be an imposter, and don't mention that you know that he said he'd report you, because if he did and they see that, they'll think you're full of shit, but if you act like he was just an ass to you, or someone claiming to be a cop was, then it looks like you're just concerned and appaled by this and would like to make them aware of this, rather then them thinking you're calling to try and save yourself because you know he said he'd call it in.

Wow sounds like that cop got picked on way too much in school. Id say hes prob fuckin with you unless he really wants to be an asshole. I dont see what he can get your for since he has no proof of all this happening. I never heard of a police man fire fighter. Hes prob just volunteer fire fighter and trying to be a hard ass.

yes, well, what if he was?.. i dont think he has much proof of anything other than my license plate... he just cussed me out and i asked him questions and he didn't give me answers...

Just contest it if he gives you a ticket, sounds like the odds are in your favor. He has no video, no radar gun.

Did you get the bikes plate number? Or catch what fire department hes at. I would personaly go to the fires station or cop station and tell them what happen. Let the fucker get fuck in the ass. Impersoniating a law enforcement is a no no.

Just let the whole thing go, nothing is going to come from it. First of all, bikers/hells angels usually HATE cops, and you'd hardly catch a cop on a harley. Second of all the "cop" would have made an off duty arrest, or called for backup and had the arrest made. Also, I've never heard a cop call anyone a "******." This is just a dumb ass biker with no life, and has never gotten pussy, and he apparently has way too much time on his hands.

Dude, sounds like some dude was just fucking with you. I doubt he is a cop, no cop would ever act like that due to the fact of cameras, phones, people recording shit. I think it's even funny you are getting worried. He is off duty. And NO, a cop can not be both. It's nearly impossible.

what and you dont have some little tag on your plate that states your "in" with the cops or the firemen, i mean common thats like diplomatic immuntity if ya had one of those things. lol
