This probably belongs in the technical section, but I'm putting it here because it's really just an abstract idea at the moment.
Anyway, I'm curious to see if we can compile an accurate list of popular engines, and their full weights.
The idea of dropping a significantly lighter performance engine into an older car fascinates me. If we can get a good list going, I think it'd be fun to use it to match it up with theoretical swap candidates to see what kind of power-weight ratio we can achieve!
To start, I'm looking for the weights of:
LSx (aluminum block)
F20C/F22C
13B (with and without manifolds and turbo/s)
2JZ-GTE
RB25/26
B18C
Anything else that you know the accurate weight of is fine.
