So a couple months ago I drove 12 hours round trip to pick up my new toy. I've wanted a "clunker" for awhile, and I just couldn't pass up the deal that I got this classic road barge for. This clown didnt realize he was missing a stud on the passenger side manifold and assumed the engine was bad, as well as thought the wipers didnt work (they were unplugged) so I slapped a replacement on from a torino with new gaskets asap, now she glides through the powerband effortlessly like silk. (and thats pulling 4500+lbs)

here she is on the way home stopping to feed the pig.

right after I got her home my dad was almost ready to fight me trying to buy her off me.

factory specs are 8-12 hahaha the earlier town cars with the 7.5 liter 460 got even less than that. however, if I make good use of the momentum and time the lights, I can get almost 15-17 mpg around cruising (or ramming) speed.

that emissions stuff is still there, but no pulley, and its all blocked off. unfortunately part of the thermactor system is intertwined with the egr. (which I fully intend on keeping)

I dont think its even got the 200 and thats on a fresh stock engine haha. however, I got about 315 lbs of torque hahah. A couple parts swapped out (listed in the future plan section) and It'll breath much much better.

            Hell yeah man.

My gramps has a mint '77 coupe. Thing is a freaking tank. Back seat is big enough to lay across comfortably.

Those things were top of the line luxury back in the day. Power everything, even seats.

one of my favorite features of the car has to be the toggle switch for the opera light for the rear passengers. I may have to put some mini chandeliers on each side with a little curtain ahahaha.
