      Oh nice!

I like the 7th gen styling a lot.

8th gen took a while to grow on me, but I like them too now.

The 9th gen made me fall in love with the Accord all over again when I saw it sitting in the parking lot.

Sport package had my dick on sprung.

I guess I should update this thread...

Drivers front tire needed patching....tech said woah brother, shit been patched 3 times...I can't legally patch this again....

So I said fuck it, throw me a new tire.

I know, I know, should replace all or none....I just didn't have $400 to spend on tires and my wifes CR-V needed new tires which came out to $500.

So got a new tire up front.

Also drivers side HID ballast went out....called DDM....they sent me a weird slim ballast(when I asked for full size) and that shit didn't work...

In the process I got melted plastic on the HID bulb....which basically fucked the bulb...

So for a while I ran one light HID, one Halogen...looked CARAZY.

Then the ballast went for the Pass side lol.

        Said FUCK YOU DDM!

Two years is a good for ballasts....for $35.

        So back to Halogens.

        No majors plans...

in the spring ill probably be trading her in(hopefully), so Im not sure if im going to retire the car so ill get it back on trade in, or just send her to the yard with the mismatched tires lol.

        Haven't done anything else.

She is at 116k and due for an oil change...

Im leaving for training tomorrow, so upon return, ill be doing that for realz.

I updated the first page pics.....they look crappy....im doing this from work, so ill check them from home later.

Yeah, DDM isn't the best. You get what you pay for.

I got a nail in one of my summer tires but they're new enough that I'm OK replacing just the one.

              Ya no new updates.

              Winter has been harsh.

Im going to edit the first page pics a little when I get a minute, as one is WAY to small and I want to add a good ass shot.

Still planning on trading her in come spring, if I find what I want.

And bump for Feb in the Other Automotive Calendar.

So I got a coupon from Honda for a $21.95 oil change with 10 pt inspection.....

                    They found the following issues...
                    1. Cabin air filter needs changed(I changed it around 80-85k miles, car now has 117.)
                    2. Trans fluid is dirty/Power steering/brake fluid is dirty
                    3. Front brake rotors are < 2mm....they said they need to be 3mm or more, so they might be able to machine them or replace them.
                    4. They also mentioned a heat shield that is rusted, they didn't say which one.
                    5. Also wasn't sure about spark plugs or water pump, but I told them both were done around 80k.
                    6. Coolant flush too.

So basically, I think im going to do all the fluids on my own. I def changed the coolant on my own not too long ago, ill have to check my records.

I might let them machine the rotors, but I might just replace them. I have drums in the rear, so ill let them clean them out and adjust, they are a pita.

Never did rotors on my own, but It can't be too hard. Just have to have the time to do it.

Im not going to bother with the cabin air filter, I did that around 80k...I dont want to pay for them to do it and im sure as hell not ripping out the glove box again LMAO.

Rotors are wicked easy to do, and, they are cheap. I'd just replace them.

Ya I might do that, since I only need to do the fronts.

Do you need to bleed the system when you do rotors?

You shouldn't have to bleed brakes if you're just swapping rotors out. But you will have to push the calipers in to make room for the new thickness of the rotors. Same thing when changing out pads, you have to make "room" for the new pads. So they'll feel a little spongy at first.

No problem man, you deserve to be recognized for your hard work keeping her clean.

In other news, I installed my new radio today....Pioneer HU with blutooth.

Damn near cut my finger off trying to remove fucking plastic panels lol.

First time wiring up a radio harness. Came out good. After I set it up and put all the panels back I realized I forgot to plug the fucking radio back in LMAO.

So I had to pull it all out and plug that in.

I also forgot a cd in the OEM radio lol.

                              Don't rush people.

Had a cel come on. Was a VTEC solenoid from low oil.

Took it in and had oil change done, got three new tires so new tires all around basically, and found out I need my pass side ball joint replaced.

I still need to do brakes.

                                FML.

Bought mcguiars headlight restoration kit and claybar kit also.
