Looking good man, Ive been getting the itch to get a rwd convertible to have some fun with. I'll definitely be watching this

dang this thing is sick, looks like we both went for a change of power plants to Nissan, you did the whole car and me well just the engine haha, but the first of your recent photos shows just how small the 240 is compared to the cb, sure yours is slammed but even at stock height its several inches shorter

ok, plan change....
found a super deal on an SR20det swap. An entire swap trade for my ka24de.
the SR ran but smoked a shit ton when the kid asked my buddy to rebuild it. thought it was something stupid. turned out to be a melted piston in cylinder 3.
and i get to keep my engine until its done being rebuilt.
So im going to be boring the block .20 over, new .20 OEM pistons ($40 each from nissan) and putting that ish back together....
shits gonna get real

I have an s13 248 cam in the garage. Need another but I'm not too sure. Running the exhaust cam in the intake causes the valve overlap to be less than optimal without adjustable cam gears. I'm probably gonna go for 264's or even 272's if I can get a head to get machined. Then boost.
Assuming I don't have another cb7 taking all of my automotive attention lol.

There is 1,000 around NC...I see them on craigslist all the time, most are 5speed as well...Maybe you should come down here and buy a few, then take them back there and sell them for a pretty penny...lol
back on topic, My friend Robert used to have a s13 vert with an F20C in it...lol
Your car is pretty dope my friend!
Ninja Edit: You should put twin s13 exhaust cams in her, pretty lopey idle, and KA's breathe a lot better that way!Last edited by 91_CB7_Sedan; 04-29-2011, 09:36 PM.

a quote from a guy on TR, "theres no ORIGINAL in the 240 scene. Just people going hard, and people in welfare status."

lol. Its a gift i guess. you cant be afraid to spend money and you have to know when to wait. You also have to take chances.
the Jeep cost me $650 but could have had a rod knock. but it was torque converter bolts.
the hatch was $450 and sat not running for 2 years. started up with a couple bad injectors and wound up getting parted out for way more than i paid for it.
the coils ($300)could have been blown but seem to be fine by me.
gotta hustle baby.
