I like this build. Bought one of these when I was 16 thinking I knew enough about cars to pull the engine and do all the work lol. Are you sticking with the single cam or is it temp?We are all ricers, it just depends what flavor rice you are.
Minitrucker by heart, CB7tuner by coincidence.

Subscribed. Love to watch a 240 built from ground up and hopefully will be building one myself at some point. At the risk of sounding like a noob, I am stil learning Nissan and was wondering what car is the CA18det from? I know the rb i the skyline and the sr20 is the Silvia, but never heard of the CA18

Picked up a KA 5spd lower harness and alternator yesterday! Hopefully I will get the car running within the next couple of days.

Originally posted by NButtz on NorthwestNissans.comWednesday was a pretty productive day. I got my lower harness on and
couldn't figure out why my car wouldn't crank still. It ended up being that the
dash plugs were different by the ecu and luckily I had an extra upper harness
that had the right plug on it. So I de-pinned the wires and re-pinned them in
the right plug. After that it started cranking but wouldn't fire off. After trying
everything else I decided to switch the fuel lines and then it fired right up!
Never have done a motor swap in a Nissan so had no clue which way the
lines went, lol. So now all that is left is hook up clutch lines and driveshaft
and then I will be able to drive this!
So after I had the car running I decided to put on a few exterior pieces I had
laying around. Took the hatch and taillights out so I could put my rear
garnish because the taillights stick out over the garnish. After that I put a
new hatch on that isn't all rusted out and dented all to hell. lol.
Here are some pictures I took on wednesday...
