Grrr. I hate paying other folks to service my vehicles. She experienced a crank, no-start issue a few weeks ago. Let is sit 15 minutes and it would start fine. Sent her a volt meter to check battery and alternator, but couldn't get it to repeat - until last week. Her fiancé was visiting and took it to fill the tank; wouldn't start after filling it up. Had it towed to a Honda dealer close by. Too many $ later, it has a new starter. They started out wanting $50 more than list price for the reman starter. I sent them a note with typical Honda list price, my local dealer's price (20% off), and Majestic's price - they dropped the price by $100. I've made the round trip in 36 hours before to do vehicle repairs instead of paying a shop down there.

This one came home for the summer after graduation in mid-May. Rolled through 200,000 this afternoon. My youngest daughter has become attached to it; she asked if she could start paying me for it. It may become a wedding present (discounted?) in October. I'll be buying back my other daughter's 2008 E to try to deal with oil pressure problems, then use it myself while (if) I start redoing Ruby again.

I guess I'll remove this from my signature, but leave the thread here. Daughter got married Oct. 1; signed this one over to her so it is now her and my son-in-law's responsibility. I so bad wanted to swap the aluminum wheels to mine and put the steelies from the 2008 on this one. Keeping my eyes open.
