Anybody know how hard it is to replace an alternator on a Corvette C6? I was talking with one of my bosses today and he mentioned he was quoted a crazy amount. I quickly looked up some images and it appears to be easily accessible. What am I missing? 
I asked him, "are you sure that's all they're doing" and he "yes". He must be confused because the amount just doesn't make sense.
