    1993 Accord Vs. 2002 Camry

So, my friend gets this loaner camry from his dealership while they work on his se-r for repairs, so we decide to go f around w/it and do a couple runs, some from a roll, one from a dead stop and honestly I am really dissapointed in my cb7.

His car is factory rated @ 157HP, not sure of the TQ, anyone? everyone knows the 1993 EX, with my mods listed in my sig.

I ran from a 30ish roll and he ended up pulling by a nose, second roll from 50, barely pulled an inch or 2, and dead stop, he took me by half a car. I did have a full tank of gas, he was pretty much on empty. Besides that I'm clueless as to why I didn't pull a little.

Anyone have any ideas? Thanks, peaCe.

Well you gotta figure..those new Camrys come with a ODB II Engine...probably a V6.

My mom has a 2001 Camry LE V6, dude I pushed that thing to its limits once when my mom let me use to go to the store.

I scared the shit out of myself, I topped it out at 145 mph. That my friend is some scary shit...plus my moms car turns on a dime...very sensitive steering, and it drives like its on rails.

your right, this camry has 162 tq, and I hear its underrated. So, if i stayed w/him pretty much, thats semi-good in terms of my mods doing what they are suppose to do, no?

i say you did pretty well. i ran a friend with a '02 se 5spd, and from about a 30mph roll... when he shifted into 2nd, he pulled on me like i wasnt moving. theyre not necessarily quick cars, but compared to a 3000lb boat, they are.
